Standard IV: Incentives, Sanctions and Therapeutic Adjustments (SD4)


Description
Treatment courts use a science-based coordinated strategy for responding to participant behavior. These responses or consequences, are categorized as incentives, or desirable consequences, sanctions, or undesirable consequences, and therapeutic adjustments. Therapeutic adjustments, which are neither incentives or sanctions, are changes to participants’ current treatment plan, complementary services, or recovery management activities.
